CLOUDBREAK, Fiji (Monday, August 12, 2024) - The World Surf League (WSL) is thrilled to welcome global and Fiji partners to the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro. The WSL will work with several new Fijian partners and a number of existing global partners ahead of Stop No. 9 of this year's Championship Tour (CT).

Corona and Bonsoy Join as Title and Presenting Partners
The WSL's longtime partner, Corona, has taken the title partnership for the Fiji Pro. Bonsoy has continued to strengthen its support of competitive surfing, becoming the event's presenting partner for 2024.
Jack's of Fiji, Fiji Airways, Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Onboard For WSL's Return to Fiji
Iconic Fijian clothing and souvenir company Jack's of Fiji has been announced as the Official Apparel Partner of the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy. The WSL will work with Jack's of Fiji to create a unique event merchandise collection. Jack's of Fiji will have a pop-up store at the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro Live Site at Denarau Harbour for fans.
Fiji Airways has joined forces with the WSL to become the Official Airline of the Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy. Fiji Airways will appear across on-site signage and broadcast, bringing fans the ‘Fiji Airways Board Check-in' integration, highlighting the equipment the surfers are riding to inspire surf fans to pack for their next Fijian surf adventure.
Fiji Broadcasting Corporation has become the official broadcast partner of the event in Fiji. Fijians won't miss a second of the action, with every heat being broadcast nationally on FBC's free-to-air channels and daily event highlight shows.
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay and Tavarua Island Resort are Official Accommodation Partners
The WSL will be working with the Fiji Mariott Resort Momi Bay as the Official Accommodation Partner of the Corona Fiji Pro. The event will use the resort as a base for broadcasting and events related to the contest, such as opening and closing parties. Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay will be pivotal in hosting officials and media, leveraging its state-of-the-art facilities, top-notch amenities, and welcoming Fijian hospitality.
The iconic and picturesque Tavarua Island Resort will host the CT competitors and selected staff again during the upcoming Corona Fiji Pro. The event will also gain access to Tavarua's perfect left-hander, ‘Restaurants,' as a backup location for the competition.
Tourism Fiji to Host Corona Fiji Pro Live Site at Port Denarau
Tourism Fiji will host the Port Denarau Live Site from August 22 to 25, 2024. The event will have a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere that will captivate locals and international visitors.
This exciting addition to the Corona Fiji Pro will run during the middle weekend and promises attendees a dynamic and immersive experience. The four-day event will showcase Fiji's rich cultural tapestry with diverse performances, live music from Ouvacast, and an electrifying set by DJ Works. As well as hosting various engaging activities, including brand activations, chill-out zones, and food pop-ups. Guests will also have the chance to catch every thrilling moment of the surfing competition via a large-screen live stream. A highlight of the festivities will be a surf-themed outdoor movie night, offering a relaxed setting with plenty of food and drinks to enjoy.
WSL One Ocean Partners with Mamanuca Environment Society
The WSL is proud to partner with Mamanuca Environment Society (MES) this year to support their environmental protection efforts across the region, from community and tourist engagement to coral restoration. Funding from the WSL PURE Grant Program will help organize an Environment Day to amplify cleanup efforts, coastal restoration, and engagement with CT athletes, WSL staff, and the community.
